Music, Teacher
Specialize in: Viola, Violin,
Teaches in: Sonoma County

I remember attending New York Philharmonic concerts at Lincoln Center as a young girl which inspired me to play the viola. During undergraduate music studies, I was awarded a scholarship to the Aspen Music Festival from the Juilliard School and won First Place in the Midwest Chamber Ensemble Competition.
I continued viola training at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and began an active freelance career performing with the Marin, Berkeley and Peninsula Symphonies. Later, I volunteered as an Orff-Schulwerk music teacher at Cabrillo Elementary School in Pacifica and recently received a certificate With Distinction from Northwestern University in Violin & Viola: Creating a Healthy Foundation, Coursera. I currently teach at the Santa Rosa Charter School for the Arts and the Santa Rosa Symphony Simply Strings Program and regularly perform in orchestras and chamber ensembles, often serving as Principal Violist. In my spare time I enjoy reading, gardening and walking with my minpin Roo. I dream of attending concerts and cultural sites around the world.
